Woman of the Desert
Unlock Your Creativity and Learn Mixed Media Assemblage Techniques
Join me for Woman of the Desert, where you'll embark on a journey of artistic discovery. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, this class caters to all skill levels. You will explore Powertex Universal Medium, techniques, and styles, unleashing your creativity and honing your artistic skills. In this Mixed Media Assemblage class you will bring parts of the Southwest desert into your art. We will be using fabrics, desert findings such as cacti skeletons and Powertex products.

Master Board Make n’ Take
Learn to make a Master Board, which is a single large collage made to be subsequently cut or torn into pieces for a specific purpose or project. In this class, you will make a master board and from that master board, the student can create other works of art such as greeting cards, tags, bookmarks and or magnets. Let your creativity reign after you have made the master board!
Mixed Media Basics: Collage
Create a canvas piece using basic collage techniques. Exploring paper as texture while touching on design and layout concepts. We will continue to explore mixed media elements through collage layers, gesso techniques, acrylic painting and mark making. Class participants will learn beginning techniques while touching onto intermediate concepts that they can take away and explore further.
