ArtFoamies™ Guest Artist Technique Method Project

I’m so excited to share my first ArtFoamies™ Guest Artist project. Today I will be sharing a layout I did working in my beloved oversized magazine mixed media art journal, that I’ve been calling “Big Bertha”. This journal is HUGE, its 10 1/2″ x 13 7/8″. The base of it is a magazine so the pages are semi-glossy and very light weight. As a result, I have pre-glued up to three pages together so it can withstand all that I end up throwing at it as well as adding white gesso to ensure things adhere well to that semi-glossy surface. I will also share an awesome texture method called a Foamie Press in the making of this layout.
