Artsy Second Sunday, A YouTube Premier Hop

So, I’m involved in this thing. The concept was totally new to me and I am excited to share it with you.

It’s a YouTube video hop with a bit of a twist. The participant videos have each been set up as a premier in 15 min increment’s of each other (each video is 15 min long), so you can hop like you would a regular video hop. However, if you choose to watch the video at the premier showing you can hop live as each video is being released AND chat live with the artist and everyone else who’s hopping along. It is a great deal of fun. We generally start at 8:00 AM PST and run through 1:00 PM PST (each month is subject to time/participant changes).

Artsy Second Sunday was organized by Martha from ilove2paint-AyalaArt. We are currently 26 +/- artist strong. This hop group is made up of painters with a huge variety of styles, mediums and we range in locations throughout the WORLD. The goal is to bring you joy, inspiration and awesome paintings. We hope to inspire you to get creative in whatever medium you prefer to use or try out something new. We premier the hop every month on the second Sunday through the end of 2021.

Each month we follow a list of themes to work off of. Our first month was March of 2021 and the theme was spring. I worked very small, on a 6″x6″ hardboard. I had so much fun with this piece.
